Your Home Is Not in Your Room but in God

There can be no denying the fact that our homes are not just physical places we reside in but also spiritual entities that provide us with a sense of security, comfort, and peace.

When you really think about it, our home is not just in our room but in God. Psalm 91:2 promises us “I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.” In times of trouble or turmoil, we can rely on God to be our strong foundation and protector.

Even if our homes are not always free from strife or conflict, we can find comfort knowing that God is with us. Hebrews 13:5–6 assures us “God has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’ So we can confidently say, ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?'” No matter what life throws our way, we can take comfort in the knowledge that God is always by our side.

Home is more than a place where we rest our heads at night; it’s a place where we find strength and support during difficult times. Whether we are facing personal trials or global crises, we can always find refuge in the arms of God. When all else seems to be crumbling around us, it’s reassuring to know that our home is in Him.
