Beat the Pressure to Be Original by Just Sharing

I’ve been preoccupied of late. Even when I’ve had the time, I’ve not been able to get myself into the right mind space to post here. I’ve felt terrible about it.

But now, I feel better.

I realize that I’ve fallen prey to the mentality that I must compete on the internet on its terms.

What competition, you ask?

The competition for attention. YOUR ATTENTION. The competition to craft 750+ word blog articles that are both original and valuable. Apparently that’s the only way to get attention online these days. But I can’t afford to do that.

And yet I love this little piece of real estate I have online. And I want to connect with people like you and form meaningful relationships.

So here’s what I’ve decided.

Moving forward, I’ll make it a point to share the things that I find in my life that I feel are valuable. I’ll curate and share. Not necessarily as lists, because it takes a lot of time to build lists. Maybe a YouTube video link now and a photo a book page another time. Stuff like that.

That would be authentically me 🙂
